The Experiment

Thank you for accepting the invitation to the Experiment!

This is a pleasure to host this wonderful experiment and I cannot wait to get results! Right now, we are awaiting replies from watsonsbutt.tumblr.com and from Thomas Light, who said he’ll be working on his tumblr as soon as possible. Then, we have about… between 4 and 15 more coming to attend the Experiment. Now, first things first: safety regulations!

  • At any time, if you feel threatened, please grab one of the multiple weapons hanging on the walls.
  • Please do your best to second-guess, connive, instigate, intimidate and harass other participants, while forming subterfuge-plots and contrived alliances.
  • If there are any problems with Experiment Test-Subjects, then feel free to duke these problems out in a match of wits, literacy, duels, and other such trifles.
  • You are not permitted to leave the testing site until otherwise instructed to do so by Wily’s Army. (That’s us!)
  • If you can bring your own lunch, that is not recommended, due to the housing of starved orphans within the vicinity, known to pickpocket, stab, shank, bite, tear and fight for any morsel of food.
  • Don’t try to portray any sort of false front (i.e. feigning kindness, forcing cruelty, etc.) during the Experiment. You will be found out and booted from the Experiment and promptly taken to meet The Father, who will then teach you what it means to break a law.
  • If you can help it, do not have fun with this test. Our fun-sensors are off the grid right now and they take fun as a threat, to which they will fire upon on sight. Sorry for the inconvenience.

Apparently, they keep me safe.  However, I am the gatekeeper.  I feel as though I am the one who keeps others safe.  Perhaps the meaning of protection has been altered in some way.

That sounds dangerous.  The people of tumblr are sometimes of a cold demeanor and will mistreat you for any statement, fact or opinion.  Of course, there are those who are quite the opposite, who welcome the concept of free will and open mind.  Then there are those who do not seem to favor either situation and will say what they please, regardless of how it makes them appear.  If you are prepared for the world of tumblr, then I’m sure many will welcome it, and it might be a wholesome learning experience for an old gatekeeper.

Why, Hello Again!

Hello, there, Gatekeeper Sir!

If my calculations were correct, then I may just have found the man/woman I was looking for in my endeavors. You see, there’s an experiment I would love to try, where I gather some of the most ignorant, stupid and narcissistic people in the same location as heartfelt, kind and compassionate people, in which I will see how they mingle together. Now, I judge who’s what personality by my friend, West, a sociology and psychology major, then I do not tell the victim test-subject what I believe their personalities to be. It’s up the the test-subjects to determine who are the egotists and who are the selfless! You have been chosen to participate in this wonderful experiment!


Meet at Wily Tower, in MegaCity 20XX at 4 in the morning, when you’ve found you’ve lost control of your life. Then, we shall all Light Up the Night as a group and begin the experiment.
